Mocs earn runner-up in the AVCA Small College Championships bronze bracket

To close the beach volleyball season, the Mocs competed in the AVCA Small College Championships at Hickory Point Beach in Tavares, Florida April 12-14. The team matched-up against six schools throughout the tournament as the No. 10 seed in Pool B. They started third out of four in their pool.

“Witness For the Prosecution” set to premiere at Buckner Theater

The classic play, “Witness For the Prosecution” by Agatha Christie will run on April 5 through April 14 at Buckner Theater. Directed by Paul Bawek, the play will be shown on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., and Sunday’s matinee at 2:30 p.m. on both weekends. 

Florida Southern alum crowned Miss Lakeland

Megan Price, a 2019 graduate of Florida Southern College, was crowned Miss Lakeland on March 9 at the Polk Theatre in Lakeland, Florida. The LaBelle native, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Journalism, now resides in Fort Myers.
