Florida Southern’s campus safety offices made the move from the parking lot of the citrus building to its new home in the former student health center during she college’s winter break.

Campus safety now lives on the corner Inghram Avenue and Duke Place.

The move was completed in order to make the location more convenient to the entire college community, as well as visitors.

According to Bill Carew, director of campus safety, the new location will not change response times as the same personnel are in their assigned areas of the college.

“It does give us more space to expand some of our internal services, such as better viewing of our alarm monitoring and surveillance camera systems. The new location is now central to all on campus student housing,” Carew said.
