The lucky number is 36. That’s how many different variations of Taylor Swift’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl, has. The separation of content done by Swift is unprecedented, forcing fans to literally create google spreadsheets to keep track of how many different album versions there are.

Before the season, the men’s cross country team was slated to win the Sunshine State Conference Championship for the third year in a row in the coaches poll. The Mocs did exactly that.

The men’s soccer team wrapped up its season earlier in November, falling to Palm Beach Atlantic in the SSC Championship Quarterfinals. However, reaching that stage required considerable determination and focus, as the team needed a late-season surge just to get there.

Coaching Division II sports is a tall task for most, but it becomes even tougher when there’s a newborn child involved. That’s the exact task that Head Volleyball Coach Ashlee Crowder has been assigned.

While FSC contains a diverse group of cultures on campus, the men’s tennis team is a true melting pot in every sense of the phrase. Out of the 20 players, 13 hail from foreign countries, which creates a unique experience compared to other sports. 

This month, FSC Athletics announced they’d be partnering with AI software company, FanWord, to bring all postgame recaps among other storytelling devices to fans using artificial intelligence.

Professor Mike Nabors teaches at FSC about the world of sports media, an industry he’s been a part of for more than 30 years. Recently, he’s released his second book, entitled “Don’t Quit Pivot,” which aims to drive others to chase their dreams and pursue their passions.  In the book, Nabors writes, “The goal [of this book] is to pass on the idea that the ability to move from one career to something better for you is attainable for everyone.”

The record books are poised to add this 2024-2025 team to school immortality as the Mocs have already broken the school record for stolen bases in 38 games with 171.
