Intramurals step outside of campus for regional championships

With the start of a new semester comes the start of a new sports season, and that statement couldn’t be more true for the intramural sand volleyball league. This year the league forms 38 teams from different fraternities, sororities, clubs, department, staff and students around campus. 

New and old faces dominate court this volleyball season

The Lady Mocs walked away from FSC Volleyball Classic at George Jenkins Field House Sept. 6 with a 2-1 starting streak. They dominated their first match against American International College, winning all three sets.

Mocs earn runner-up in the AVCA Small College Championships bronze bracket

To close the beach volleyball season, the Mocs competed in the AVCA Small College Championships at Hickory Point Beach in Tavares, Florida April 12-14. The team matched-up against six schools throughout the tournament as the No. 10 seed in Pool B. They started third out of four in their pool. 

Mocs swim several top times, earn one national championship

The Mocs competed at the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships March 12-16 in Geneva, Ohio at SPIRE Institute Aquatics Center to complete the competition season.
