The Center for Student Involvement at Florida Southern announced the cancellation of the Lil’ Dickey concert scheduled for April 6 in a statement emailed to students Tuesday afternoon.
According to the email, due to circumstances beyond the department’s control, Concert Ideas, the managing company for the concert tour was informed by Lil Dicky’s agent that due to a scheduling conflict and radio commitments, Lil Dicky was forced to cancel his performance on campus.
The statement said, “We are working with Concert Ideas to see about rescheduling this date before the semester is complete. We will be in contact with you once we learn more information.”
There are currently no set plans for the re-scheduled Robert DeLong concert after the cancelation of Southern Takeover. The Association of Campus Entertainment will post on their Facebook event page any new information or plans for a rescheduled concert date.
