Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson, was at the Lakeside Village Books-A-Million at 6 p.m. Nov. 3 signing copies of his book, “A More Perfect Union.” According to The Ledger, Lakeland Books-A-Million General Manager Dianne Stone said at least 2,500 people attended the event, the largest crowd so far on Carson’s book tour.

The Lakeland stop is part of a 13-city Florida book tour that began on Nov. 1 in Pensacola and ended on the fifth in Boca Raton. Carson has currently suspended his presidential campaign for his book tour.
