Men’s swim places second, women in fourth at SSCs
The Mocs completed the 2025 Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Championships at the F.A.S.T Center in Ocala this past weekend. The No. 16 men’s team finished in second with 596 points, while the No. 24 women’s team placed fourth with 383.5 points. No. 1 University of Tampa managed to grab first for both teams.
Students seek to spark campus jazz revival with club
Down in Branscomb’s jazz band room, students may hear the sounds of “jazz jams,” the get-togethers of the FSC’s Jazz Education Network (JEN) chapter.
JEN was founded in 2008 by Mary Jo Papich and Dr. Lou Fishcer to celebrate and keep the genre alive. What started as a music conference in St. Louis expanded into a network with thousands of members, now including collegiate, secondary education and community-based chapters.

2025 ACE schedule: Guide to spring semester events
The Haunted Rose Garden, Southern Takeover, and Cram Jam were among the most widely attended events of the Fall 2024 semester at Florida Southern College, as they occur semesterly. TikTok dead, brought back to life within a few hours

Despite a law banning the app, the video-sharing app restored access to users in the country after President Trump vowed to issue an executive order on the day of his inauguration, delaying the ban. In his message published on truthsocial.com on Jan. 19, Trump pledged to bring the app back as long as the U.S. obtains 50% ownership of TikTok.
